Galatians has always been considered one of Paul’s chief letters (with Romans and the Corinthian correspondence), and virtually no one has ever doubted that “Paul an apostle” (Gal 1:1) wrote it. There are so many signs of his hand in the letter, such as his emphasis on the centrality of the gospel and on justification by faith.
